Dan joined Campfire in July 2020 as Chief Operating Officer upon the company’s closing of an equity capital round. In January 2023, he assumed the role of President in which he leads the company’s overall business growth and operations. He brings to Campfire significant experience leading teams and scaling business in high growth technology-based companies serving the manufacturing sector. He has over 25 years of software executive experience, most of which involved products sold to the automotive industry. His leadership positions include CEO of Comet Solutions (acquired by Aras), advisor and Board member of Ilesfay Technology (acquired by Autodesk), VP Marketing of think3 (acquired by DPT and Versata), and Director Marketing of SDRC (now Siemens Digital Industries Software).
Dan serves on the Board of Directors of Campfire and also in Board member and Advisory positions to high growth and technology businesses, roles for which he has earned awards and distinction for exceptional leadership and guidance.
Dan earned an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and an AB from Princeton University.
Pradeep is the co-founder of Campfire and a recognized expert in opportunity lifecycle management for automotive suppliers who has pioneered many innovations for suppliers to improve profitability. He has 30 years of experience building and selling software and establishing strategic business partnerships within a variety of industries including automotive, electronics, consumer products, aerospace and entertainment. He was a Founder and General Manager of Imageware, a leader in high end surface modeling, acquired in 1998 by SDRC (now Siemens Digital Industries Software), a Vice President of SDRC, and a Founder and Vice President of Virage, a leader in internet video image indexing, which completed an IPO in 2000.
Pradeep has been instrumental in engineering many strategic business initiatives over his career. These include licensing to Microsoft of Imageware’s core technology, which then was used throughout the product suite of Microsoft’s entertainment division.
Pradeep serves on the Board of Directors of Campfire and also in Board and Advisory positions to other technology businesses. He is a frequent presenter at industry and education forums on the automotive sector.
Pradeep earned an MSE from University of Michigan in Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence and a BSE from Princeton University.
Sarvajit “Sarge” is the co-founder of Campfire, a Board member of the company, and a recognized innovator in solutions for profitability management. He has over 30 years of experience developing innovative software for a variety of industries and demanding customers, especially within automotive and aerospace. He was a Founder and Vice President of Imageware, a leader in high end surface modeling, acquired in 1998 by SDRC (now Siemens Digital Industries Software). His Ph.D. thesis led to the development of Imageware technology, and he was responsible for product development and professional services as a Director at SDRC. He was also a Founder of Virage, a leader in internet video image indexing, which completed an IPO in 2000. Earlier in his career, he worked for General Motors Research Labs in their Geometric Modeling Group.
Sarge has written numerous articles and been a featured speaker at various technical conferences on areas including geometric modeling, computer vision and robotics.
Sarge earned a Ph.D. from University of Michigan in Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence, an MS from University of Maryland in Computer Science and a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.
